Inside Sales Specialist

Role Overview

Opportunity to lead internal sales efforts, cultivate current client relationships, proactively maximize sales cycles and work with the external sales team to close deals. This role is that of a sales “farmer”, strategically managing existing clients and proactively assessing and filling their needs, in support of the entire sales team. The opportunity affords autonomy and allows an organized and self-sufficient sales professional the unique opportunity to apply out-of-the box solutions within an up-and-coming energy management/engineered power solutions space.

Responsibilities

• 6+ years’ experience in similar Sales Role (inside or outside) within a related industry

•Highly organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented skill set, all hands-on deck attitude and vocal communicator not afraid to flag concerns or ask questions

•Technically inclined individual who knows how to read one-line electrical diagrams and manage customer quotes

•Keen ability to field client concerns/questions, pivot between tasks and run ongoing projects

•Occasional travel, including on-site training for first few weeks and intermittent travel to home office in Canada

• Salesforce proficiency

•Supporting and assisting entire sales team in closing deals

•Fielding client questions and concerns, including collaborating with the outside sales team on customer quotes and support

•Identifying sales opportunities with existing clients, proactively offering solutions to expand client offering

•Shortening the sales cycle by proactively identifying inefficiencies and implementing unique solutions in the sales processes

•Spearheading one-off projects

•Reviewing one-line diagrams to ensure client needs are met and all sales opportunities are being pursued

•Collaborating with application engineer to build out newly established inside sales team
