John Di Stasio has an extensive background in public power, spanning over 35 years. He assumed the role of President of the Large Public Power Council (LPPC) in January 2015, where he represents the interests of twenty-seven of the largest consumer-owned utilities in the United States from the council's base in Washington DC. Prior to his current position, Di Stasio served as the General Manager and CEO of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) from 2008 to 2014.
Di Stasio's contributions have been recognized with awards such as the Electric Light and Power Large Utility CEO of the Year in 2013. He remains actively engaged in the industry, participating in a variety of boards and commissions.
Ross is recognized as a transformational leader and drives Powerside’s global strategy and future state vision. His career has spanned from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, the US Air Force, and academia. Previously, President and CEO of ZPower, during his tenure it was #82 on Inc Magazine’s Fastest Growing Private US Companies list in 2018. He is a past Chairman of the Board for Clean Air Power and was a Vice President at Emerson Corporation, where he worked in advanced technology, growth strategy, and venture capital. He is a co-author of the book “Chemical Principles Applied to Spacecraft Operations” and has authored and co-authored 17 technical papers.
Ross holds a B.S. Chemistry, Air Force Academy, 1982; M.S. Chemical Engineering, Stanford, 1988; Ph.D. Chemistry, Oxford, 1993; MBA, University of Colorado, 1994.
Gerd Goette is a Venture Partner at Cycle Capital. He is also the Managing Director of Lupine Growth Advisors, working with startups in energy and transportation as independent director and strategic advisor. Before launching Lupine, Gerd spend 18 years at Siemens Venture Capital, where he invested in telecom and energy startups and managed the energy practice. Earlier in his career he spent 13 years at Siemens in R&D, product management, sales, and general management roles. Gerd received a master’s degree in electrical engineering (Dipl. Ing.) from Technical University Darmstadt, Germany.
Wally serves as the Managing Director of EnerTech Capital. Some of his responsibilities include opportunities in energy management, building automation and control, oil and gas technologies, power electronics. Before EnerTech, Wally worked for the Royal Bank of Canada, where he managed the bank’s private equities for energy and advanced technologies. Wally has extensive experience in venture capital, which includes a series of successful IPO’s and turnaround transactions. Wally also produced and hosted a financial television show, “Money Week”, was a Councillor for Milton, Ontario, and was the Chair of Finance on the board of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Wally holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario.
John is a growth capital investor, investing in high-growth private companies in the energy sector with a specific focus on operational and digital technology. He is a founding member of Energy Growth Momentum and holds several non-executive roles in operating companies. Prior to EGM, John worked at Piper Sandler (Simmons & Company), Lime Rock Partners and First Reserve.
He holds a MA Joint Honors in Economics and International Relations and a Corporate Finance Qualification from ICAEW and CISI.

Mario Laflamme is an accomplished finance executive with experience in technology and manufacturing companies. Mario has worked with both public and private entities in Canada and the United States and has worked with venture capital and private equity investors. He has also been involved in many acquisitions and divestitures over the course of his career. Mario’s industry experience includes Cleantech, eHealth, software, and eCommerce.
Mario holds a BCom in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and he is a Chartered Public Accountant in Canada and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
Wendy serves as the Vice President of Human Resources for Powerside globally. She is responsible for the recruitment, strategy and development for the entire Powerside Team. Wendy has held executive management human resources positions in several companies, including Bain & Company, Morgan Stanley, Splunk, in addition to owning her own consulting business. Wendy has a strong background in strategic human resources strategy, organizational development, and employee relations.
Wendy holds a BS in Psychology from San Diego State University.
As Vice President of Marketing, Tom leads the Powerside Go To Market Strategy and positioning for Power Quality Analysis and Correction Solutions. He has several decades of experience in the Energy and Transport Sectors globally since starting out in the UK in Power Equipment Design with Alstom. Having led multiple teams across design, commercial projects and field installation within large power plant OEMs, transportation sectors, renewables and control system manufacturing, Tom brings a broad band of international experience to the Team.
Tom holds a B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Strathclyde University in Scotland.
Seth Johnson leads our Corrections business with a focus on new product expansion. He has over 10 years of experience in both research and power systems. Before joining Powerside in 2017, he was a manufacturer’s representative managing sales and business development for several technical product lines including active/passive filters, variable speed drives, and uninterruptable power supplies.
Seth holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
Kamron Tangney serves as our Vice President of Sales for the Powerside monitoring business, responsible for our Global Sales team and Partner channels overseas. Kam has over a decade of experience with the company, having grown through the technical support and sales channels for the monitoring business, first as PSL and more recently as part of the Powerside Leadership team. Kam has been instrumental in expanding the global reach of Powerside geographically and has expanded our reach in supporting new industry verticals and is well known in the Power Quality community worldwide.
Stephane Do brings 20+ years of experience in power quality measurements. He previously worked with LEM Instruments and Danaher/Qualitrol as technical expert and cross-functional team lead for development of power monitoring and fault recording products. More recently, he has been the PM lead for the introduction of Powerside’s IOT cloud platform for Power Analysis. Stephane is a permanent member of the Committee defining IEC standards on Power Quality Measurement Methods.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
As Powerside’s Vice President of Software, Louis plays a crucial role in shaping the long-term strategy, growth, and transformation of our technology. Before Powerside, Louis was R&D Director of the Schneider Electric Company responsible for developing mobile applications and cloud solutions for intelligent room controllers deployed in commercial and residential markets. Louis also held Vice President and Director roles at Verint developing large distributed situational awareness management systems.
Louis holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal.
Robert Pompeani joined Powerside in 2011 and has led the development of its products in his role as Vice President of Engineering, Monitoring. He has over three decades of experience designing electronic systems. He previously designed systems for the US Military that have been successfully deployed on ships, aircraft, and satellites. He has been a consultant for major utility companies including Pacific Gas and Electric and Southern California Edison developing spread-spectrum, Wide Area Network, wireless communication networks. At Powerside Robert has led the team that developed the PQube 3, PQEdge and the µPMU and the proprietary hardware for monitoring the Medium Voltage sections of Variable Frequency Drives. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
Rouzbeh Rezvani our VP of Operations & Engineering in Montreal has over two decades of extensive experience in the dynamic realm of power quality.
Rouzbeh holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and holds the esteemed title of Associate Professor at UQTR (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières). His expertise and academic credentials demonstrate his invaluable contributions to Powerside Corrections Business and the broader industry, positioning him as a distinguished leader in the field of power quality.
As our VP of Operations based in Alameda, Michelle champions our production operations for our complete range of Power Quality analyzers and associated systems. Michelle has a comprehensive resume in Power Quality products including 20 years with Hioki internationally including Marketing, BD, Communications and Product Management. Michelle has been with Powerside for 3 years, where she began by turning around our supply chain and growing her role to more recently lead Operations during a period of substantial growth.
