Mike Edmonds

Mike Edmonds

Chair of the Board

Mike serves as S&C Electric Company’s Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, he is globally responsible for all commercial matters, including solution offers and execution through to long term support of our worldwide customer base. Mike held previous roles at S&C, including President, USA Business, Vice President Strategic Solutions, and Global Smart Grid Strategy Director. Before joining the S&C Electric Company, he was Vice President & General Manager at Siemens Energy, and Vice President & General Manager at Siemens PTI.
Mike holds a BSc (Honors) in Electrical Power Engineering from Cardiff University, Wales.
Wally Hunter

Wally Hunter

Managing Director

Wally serves as the Manager Director of EnerTech Capital. Some of his responsibilities include opportunities in energy management, building automation and control, oil and gas technologies, power electronics. Before EnerTech, Wally worked for the Royal Bank of Canada, where he managed the bank’s private equities for energy and advanced technologies. Wally has extensive experience in venture capital, which includes a series of successful IPO’s and turnaround transactions. Wally also produced and hosted a financial television show, “Money Week”, was a Councillor for Milton, Ontario, and was the Chair of Finance on the board of the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Wally holds a BA from the University of Western Ontario.
Phil

Phil Anzarut

Partner, Co-Investment Fund

Phil serves as a Partner, Co-Investment Fund at BDC. Phil joined BDC in 2009 following a career in financial advisory services. He began his career in investment banking at HSBC Securities and has also worked independently, providing financial advisory services to Canadian small-cap companies.
In 2001, Phil joined TELUS Corporation as Director of Corporate Development/Mergers & Acquisitions. He spent the next seven years leading acquisitions and strategic divestitures on behalf of TELUS and TELUS Ventures.
Phil holds a Bachelor of Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Chris Hutter

Executive

Chris Hutter is an accomplished senior executive. Most recently, he served as the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Power Survey, now doing business as Powerside. Before that, Chris held several positions at PowerSecure International, Inc., including Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining PowerSecure in 2007, he held key executive management positions at ADVO, Inc. Early in his career, Chris worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at the accounting firm Deloitte & Touche.
Chris holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BSc in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University.
Melanie Khoury

Mélanie Kfoury

Founder & President, Melka Consulting

Mélanie is a top-notch, skilled executive with 20 years of experience in professional services, growth strategy design, and corporate development. Prior to founding Melka Consulting, Mélanie was a partner at KPMG, and a partner at the SECOR Group, a private strategy firm. She began her career in information technology at Accenture. She is a regular guest speaker at executive forums and has been published in Première en Affaires Magazine.
Mélanie completed the Institute of Corporate Directors at McGill University Rotman School of Management. She holds both a BComm, and a M.Sc in Administration from the Université de Montreal, HEC.
PIerre Andre Meunier

Pierre-André Meunier, P.Eng., has a long track record in private equity and venture capital financing, early-stage start-ups, and executive management. He is focused on building and expanding strongly differentiated businesses within highly innovative and creative ecosystems.
Pierre-André has held several senior operational positions most recently as Partner at Celtic House Venture Partners where he led the firm’s investment activities in the Montreal-Ottawa region.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

Amit Srivastava

Senior Partner

Amit is a Senior Partner at Cycle Capital. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of Entrepia Ventures. Before joining Entrepia Ventures, he worked at JP Morgan Partners as a Portfolio Manager and Chase Manhattan Bank as a Vice President, Corporate Strategy. Earlier in his career, he held key marketing and engineering management positions at Texas Instruments.
Amit holds a B. Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, a Master of Science from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA, Finance from The Wharton School.

Ross E. Dueber

COO

Ross is recognized as a transformational leader and drives Powerside’s global strategy and future state vision. His career has spanned from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, the US Air Force, and academia. Previously, President and CEO of ZPower, during his tenure it was #82 on Inc Magazine’s Fastest Growing Private US Companies list in 2018. He is a past Chairman of the Board for Clean Air Power and was a Vice President at Emerson Corporation, where he worked in advanced technology, growth strategy, and venture capital. He is a co-author of the book “Chemical Principles Applied to Spacecraft Operations” and has authored and co-authored 17 technical papers.
Ross holds a B.S. Chemistry, Air Force Academy, 1982; M.S. Chemical Engineering, Stanford, 1988; Ph.D. Chemistry, Oxford, 1993; MBA, University of Colorado, 1994.
Mario Laflamme

Mario Laflamme

CFO

Mario Laflamme is an accomplished finance executive with experience in technology and manufacturing companies. Mario has worked with both public and private entities in Canada and the United States and has worked with venture capital and private equity investors. He has also been involved in many acquisitions and divestitures over the course of his career. Mario’s industry experience includes Cleantech, eHealth, software, and eCommerce.
Mario holds a BCom in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and he is a Chartered Public Accountant in Canada and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.

Spiros Georgiadis

VP Global Enterprise Sales

Spiros leads Powerside’s strategic accounts efforts. He brings more than 20+ years’ global experience in delivering market expansion, business development, product management, marketing, and sales launch plans for SaaS technology services as well as manufacturing industries focused on electronics and telecommunication. He also has experience in our industry over the last couple of years. He brings his steep background in executive oversight to realize international expansion and successfully transition focus from initial research and development phase into commercialization operations. Spiros is considered an expert in guiding pre-market development SaaS and software product offerings.
Spiros holds an MBA, in finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.

Seth Johnson

VP Center of Excellence

Seth Johnson leads our large projects and medium voltage business with a focus on new product expansion. He has over 10 years of experience in both research and power systems. Before joining Powerside in 2017, he was a manufacturer’s representative managing sales and business development for several technical product lines including active/passive filters, variable speed drives, and uninterruptable power supplies.
Seth holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
Nathalie Vezina

Nathalie Vézina

VP Marketing

Nathalie leads our marketing vision. She has over 15 years of hands-on B2B and B2C marketing experience. Prior to Powerside, Nathalie worked at Daniele Henkel Inc. where she managed product lines, marketing, communication, business events, and developed affiliate partnerships. During her 12-year tenure at Walter Surface Technologies, she oversaw several highly profitable industrial and environmental solutions product lines including managing teams and a department.
A Montreal native, Nathalie studied at the Conservatoire Lassalle, the Project Management Institute, and UQAM’s School of Management Sciences.
Richie Sansay

Richie Sanasy

VP Global Operations

Richie is responsible for the global strategic management, direction, and leadership of Powerside’s North American operations and production facilities. He is a talented leader with outstanding executive skills and a knack for directing operations in a growth-minded way.
Before Powerside, he was a joint venture partner and the CEO of Vortech Pvt Ltd. Previously, Richie served as Director of Business Development at Filtervac International Inc., where he managed and grew their international markets.
Richie holds an MBA (Leadership & Innovation) from Edinburgh Napier University. He is a member of the National Black MBA (NBMBAA), University of Chicago and APICS, Montreal Chapter.
Louis Marchand

Louis Marchand

VP Software Development

As Powerside’s Vice President of Software, Louis plays a crucial role in shaping the long-term strategy, growth, and transformation of our technology. Before Powerside, Louis was R&D Director of the Schneider Electric Company responsible for developing mobile applications and cloud solutions for intelligent room controllers deployed in commercial and residential markets. Louis also held Vice President and Director roles at Verint developing large distributed situational awareness management systems.
Louis holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnique Montreal.

Wendy Warner

VP Human Resources

Wendy serves as the Global Head of Human Resources for Powerside. She is responsible for the strategy and development of our human resources. Wendy has held executive management human resources positions in several companies, including Bain & Company, Morgan Stanley, Splunk, in addition to owning her own consulting business. Wendy has a strong background in strategic human resources strategy, organizational development, and employee relations.
Wendy holds a BS in Psychology from San Diego State University.
