PQView 4.27 is Now Available to Download

We are pleased to announce that the latest version of PQView 4 and related components has been released and is available for download here.

The highlights we are most excited to share include:

  • New, informative PQWeb error message system and account logout/timeout handling
  • Added option to store email communication as .eml files
  • PQube Data Handler: Added support for events in multi-feeder configurations
  • Additional Data Handler fixes and improvements for PQube and IEC61850. See Release Notes for details.

  • [FEATURE] PQWEB-1286: “Show RMS Variations without Trends” option added to the Events page and reports – allows hiding RMS variations without RMS/Waveform records (e.g. Mag/Dur/Time PQDIF observation entries duplicating waveform data)
  • [FIX] SUPPORT-1299: Fixed issues with interactive derived charts and export options with other minor fixes. – Added separate divs for regular charts and phasor charts. – Set visibility of all divs based on the chart type. – Updated display of error message when no chart is available. – Moved the toggle bar into a separate div linked to charts, so it only appears on regular charts and not on phasor charts.
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2784: PQWebSDK – “Event/Trend/{connID:int}/{eventID:int}/{format?}” endpoint for exporting event stream (PQDIF, COMTRADE, CFF…) implemented
  • [FIX] PQV-282: Fixed cropped export menu issue for interactive charts. The export menu now accommodates more items and displays scroll bars when needed.
  • [FEATURE] PQWEB-1244: Added new and improved error handling for PQWeb features and workflows, including secure user logout handling where needed.
  • [FEATURE] PQWEB-877: Added session timeout notification for inactive pages. Users are now notified before automatic logout due to inactivity.

[PQView Admin Website]

  • [FEATURE] PQV-2793: AS Document editor – support for custom CSV/INI syntax coloring and schema validation
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2794: Support for non-JSON AS Web Document editor and schema validation
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2324: PQViewAdministrator – deleting or editing configuration documents triggers backup storage. Number of backups to keep is defined in AppSettings[“DocumentsBackupsKeep”]
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2324 – Document backups for individual documents (and types -to show deleted documents) available for access in the Administrator Web.

[PQDMS]

  • [FIX] PQube handler now downloads and remap channels of event files in multi-feeder (single voltage bus) confirmations.
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2811: IEC61850 engine supports limiting parallel file downloads via IHlrIEC61850.dll.config IEC61850_ParalelFileDownloads appSettings key
  • [FIX] CHttpClient now resets the “POST” information on each URL change. This ensures that information from a POST request is not preserved on the next request.
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2782: IEC61850 DH support for file download only mode (Discovery\Disable IED Background Processing)
  • [FIX] Revised CHttpClient to not reset connection options if keep-alive is enabled. This prevents unnecessary re-authentication on each request.
  • [FEATURE] Added support for mapping PQube analog channels to digital threshold events. This functionality is required by CHEC.
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2622: PQDMS EventCharacterizer + EventNotification analysis modules. Support for displaying per-phase RMS even duration via {Event._Event Duration From RMS AN…CA} properties and per-phase mag/dur statistics via {Event.perPhaseSummary} tokens
  • [FEATURE] PQV-2798: PQDMS Category/Notification mechanism improvement – list of all in-range categories is generated by the Category and considered by EventNotification analysis modules in order to trigger notification dispatch for notifications without worst case but with one of matched categories enabled.
  • [FEATURE] PQDMS Notification tokens: option to URL/HTML decode token replacements by adding “&” character at the end of the token name. For instance, “{category&}”==”U<90%” is replaced as “U<90%”.
  • [FEATURE] AHlrCategoryHandler reports and AHlrEventNotification checks all Sag categories whose characteristics event mag/dur are matching.

  • [FIX] SUPPORT-1276: Revised to strip status character from the start of a time stamp in LDP files. Revised file processing logic to move or delete processed files even if they could not be successfully processed. This is required to prevent problematic files being processed on every poll.

  • [FEATURE] PQV-2684: IEC61850 “DH. Keep Connection Open” preference added for continuous retrieval of RCB data
